eHGV & fleet charging

High-output charging for fleets that have work to do.

Depot charging is operational infrastructure. We coordinate power, vehicle movements, civils and charging duty to create systems that perform in the real world.

Power, vehicles and operations have to work together.

The right answer starts with the fleet duty, not the charger catalogue.

We consider arrival patterns, dwell time, route planning, available capacity and future fleet growth before developing the electrical and civil infrastructure behind the charging hardware.

Designed around the working depot.

A technically sound installation still has to survive vehicle movements, shift patterns, changing demand and future expansion.

01

Charging windows

Power requirements are considered against dwell time, route schedules and the number of vehicles that must be ready.

02

Vehicle movements

Equipment positions, protection, cable routes and civils are planned around the movement and turning needs of commercial vehicles.

03

Live-site delivery

Phasing and coordination reduce disruption where construction has to sit alongside an operating business.

04

Future growth

Distribution and infrastructure decisions account for likely expansion, load management and the next stage of fleet transition.

360 kW eHGV charger at ADM Milling in CorbyCorby · March 2025

360 kW charging with a dedicated connection.

For ADM Milling in Corby, M&N designed and installed a high-output charging station to support a fast vehicle turnaround. The project included appraisal of the existing network and coordination with the ICP and DNO for a new high-voltage connection point and dedicated low-voltage transformer.

Delivery is only the beginning.

We also diagnose faults, complete repairs and build preventative maintenance plans for commercial charging systems.

A complete charging system

Eight charging connections across an active HGV site.

A 480 kW power unit and eight high-output charging connections were integrated into a live milling operation. Approximately 120 metres of buried infrastructure crossed an active HGV route, so phasing, protection and site access were central to delivery.
