Who we are
Company founders Matthew Morgan and Thomas Newby established their first renewable energy business, The Phoenix Works, in 2010. The company was expanded over the following 12 years, growing to over 120 employees installing a variety of clean technology solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial clients.
After exiting The Phoenix Works, Matthew and Thomas went separate ways; Matthew took on a role at a building services contractor, heading up the renewable energy design function and establishing a new EV charging business. Thomas became Managing Director of a UK based clean technology products manufacturer.
Unhappy with the ‘day-jobs’, Matthew and Thomas established Morgan and Newby Engineering Ltd to utilise their combined 30-year experience. M&N offers assistance to other companies in the clean technology and renewable energy sectors, providing consultancy, project delivery, design and installation services. We also offer turnkey, end-to-end. project delivery.
